Position Description:

Global InfoTek, Inc. (GITI) is seeking a visionary and highly motivated Director of Business Development and Capture to serve as the architect for our next growth phase with CYBERCOM, DoD Service Cyber Components (AFCYBER, ARCYBER, MARFORCYBER, and Fleet Cyber), and broader defense markets. This role will leverage GITI's 29 years of proven delivery and cutting-edge R&D in AI/ML, Cyber, Agile Development, and DevSecOps to translate them into scaled, multi-year programs. You will personally identify, qualify, capture, and close new, high-value opportunities .

The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with embedded, trusted relationships with organizations where our capabilities can deliver mission impact. They generate net-new growth by gaining early access, shaping requirements, and leveraging high-trust networks across the Department of War and broader defense customers.

Position Responsibilities

You will be a driving force behind GITI's expansion, blending strategic vision with hands-on pursuit to deliver immediate revenue wins and scalable growth infrastructure. Working closely with the rest of the leadership team, you'll prioritize quantifiable results in a dynamic defense landscape. Key responsibilities include:
  • Drive Strategic Growth : Lead the development and execution of GITI's expansion strategy, targeting deeper penetration into USCYBERCOM, its service components, and adjacent defense sectors to secure a growing market position.
  • Build Robust Business Development Processes : Transform high-level strategies into actionable, documented plans; champion disciplined execution; and establish repeatable frameworks for capture and pursuit that deliver consistent, high win rates.
  • Own the Opportunity Pipeline and Capture : Identify, qualify, and aggressively pursue high-potential opportunities in Cyber, AI/ML Analytics, Cloud, and DevSecOps-ensuring a robust, strategically aligned pipeline to fuel sustainable revenue growth.
  • Shape Winning Solutions : Collaborate with technical SMEs to distill GITI's capabilities into compelling solution architectures, win themes, and value propositions that directly address customer hot buttons and mission imperatives.
  • Cultivate Key Relationships : Forge enduring partnerships with customers, primes, and ecosystem players to anticipate emerging requirements, influence RFIs/RFPs, and establish GITI as an indispensable ally in mission-critical operations.
  • Champion Transparent Collaboration : Model and facilitate seamless coordination across technical, operational, and executive teams; provide updates on pipeline health and risks; and proactively contribute insights to evolve capture and growth initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Proven Revenue Track Record : Demonstrated success leading and securing at least $75M in funded opportunities in Cyber, AI/ML, Cloud, DevSecOps, or Agile software development-ideally for DoW or adjacent customers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills to influence government and industry leaders.
  • Capture Expertise : Hands-on experience in opportunity capture, from early customer engagement and requirement shaping to competitive positioning, teaming, and proposal development.
  • Solution Leadership : Ability to guide cross-functional teams-including technical SMEs, proposal writers, and partners-in crafting tailored, compelling solutions that differentiate GITI.
  • Drive and Discipline : Self-starter with the initiative to independently advance pursuits from concept to close.
