Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to gather, document, and analyze technical and functional requirements for new and existing software projects.
- Support the design of system architecture, workflows, and software solutions that align with project goals and government directives.
- Contribute to research, development, and integration of AI/ML-enabled solutions, including data analysis, algorithm design, and system integration.
- Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software components and applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Create and maintain accurate system and process documentation to ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
- Work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, and senior technical personnel. Onsite work at the Pentagon will be required periodically to meet mission needs.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and methodologies in software development, AI, and ML. Apply innovations to drive program effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors a zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
- Interest in or experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work onsite at the Pentagon as needed, based on project demands.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
