We are currently seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to support our NSWC customer in Crane, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience. The selected applicant will be responsible for:

Duties:
  • Effective use of Help Desk tracking and ticketing system(s).
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with all customers and clients in a very busy call center environment.
  • Providing technical support by responding to and resolving end-user programs.
  • Installation and configuration of new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Documenting internal procedures.
  • Assisting with onboarding of new users.

Desired Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE) is required.

Desired Experience:
  • 1-3 years of Systems Administration and/or IT Help Desk Experience.
  • The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently and part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
