SAIC has an immediate opening for a Lead Change Configuration Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This position is located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract(SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
We are seeking an experienced Change Configuration Manager to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications. Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations. Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met. Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures. May structure and maintain databases. Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status. Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs. Change Managers will work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.

- Manage the deployment and configuration of Windows operating systems, applications, and software updates to client devices.
- Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
- Provide technical support to other IT teams and end-users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of workcenter specific tactics, technics, and procedures, including configuration settings and troubleshooting procedures.
- Share knowledge and best practices with other IT teams and stakeholders.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations Certification version 4.0 and/or;
- ITIL version 3 Release, Control, and Validation (RCV) Certification.
- Prior experience with BMC Remedy IT Service Request Management System (ITSRM) version 9.x and/or Helix 20.x desired.
- Prior experience with BMC Remedy ITRSM Change Management Console desired.
- Prior experience with ServiceNow ITSM Standard and Change Management desired.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification desired.
