We're seeking a highly motivated and Salesforce-certified Salesforce Consultant to join our dynamic team supporting a variety of public sector initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with clients to gather business requirements, document process flows, and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions through design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Salesforce Consultant: 110-130k
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Salesforce Consultant Responsibilities Include:
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations across Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Nonprofit Cloud.
- Provide technical and functional leadership to cross-functional project teams; mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal best practices, accelerators, and solution frameworks.
- Implement and integrate Marketing Cloud solutions, including journey orchestration, email, data extensions, and audience segmentation, support constituent, donor, and customer engagement strategies across digital channels.
- Collaborate on data integrations between Marketing Cloud and core Salesforce orgs to enable unified engagement and reporting.
- Design and implement automation using Flow, Approval Processes, Einstein features, and other declarative tools; optimize business processes to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure automation is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with governance and compliance standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to validate designs via prototypes and iterative feedback cycles.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder workshops to capture business, functional, and technical requirements; translate needs into solution designs, user stories, and implementation roadmaps.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and optimization opportunities.
- Design scalable data and security models, and automation frameworks aligned to public sector and nonprofit (including NPSP) requirements.
- Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools and best-practice architecture patterns.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Salesforce Consultant Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce consulting or implementation experience; minimum 7 years of overall professional experience.
- Deep expertise with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and delivery in public sector or mission-driven environments.
- Proven Marketing Cloud experience (Journey Builder, Email Studio, data integrations).
- Strong business analysis skills; lead client discovery, requirements definition, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce automation, especially Flow; experience designing production-grade UI in Lightning and Experience Cloud.
- Experience with OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, and/or CRM Analytics.
- Track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder Salesforce programs.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator plus one or more Consultant-level certifications (Sales, Service, Experience, or Marketing Cloud) required.
- Additional certifications preferred: Advanced Administrator, Marketing Cloud, Platform App Builder, OmniStudio, and PSS.
- Commitment to maintaining Salesforce certifications; willing to assign certifications to Cherokee Federal and pursue additional credentials.
- Familiarity with integrations and APIs; capable of guiding technical integration approaches.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- At least 4 years building Salesforce business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for production systems.
