Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

The Work

The System Analyst 3 will focus on developing, implementing, and expanding the Microsoft 365 Power Platform to support custom application development initiatives. The Systems Analyst will address business objectives, enhance system functionalities, and drive automation.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business objectives and identify corresponding challenges or areas for improvement.
  • Research and recommend viable alternative solutions, including cost/benefit analysis of each.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and pain points to improve system efficiency or automate processing workflows.
  • Consult with organizational units and relevant stakeholders to evaluate current operational processes and identify issues.
  • Gather requirements for specific data inputs and outputs, formatting specifications, and desired report structures.
  • Evaluate computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine alignment with requested changes or implementations.
  • Prepare detailed documentation outlining user needs, program functionalities, and the steps necessary for system development or modifications.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into functional design specifications for developers.
  • Ensure system documentation adheres to established standards and provides clarity for future maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and provide support for applications and workflows using the following Power Platform tools:
    • Dataverse
    • Power Pages
    • PowerApps (including Model-driven Apps)
    • PowerApps Portals
    • Business Process Flows
  • Participate in developing and enhancing scalable solutions to meet organizational needs using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in application development and deployment.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, business units, and technical teams to ensure alignment of requirements with end-user needs.
  • Provide technical insights and recommendations to improve system processes and address gaps in service delivery.
  • Facilitate testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues during system development or deployments.
  • Other duties as assigned .


Qualifications

Here's What You Need
  • 5 years of experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment.
  • 4 years of experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate technical solutions.
  • 4 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform development.
  • 4 years of experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model.
  • 4 years experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows.
  • 4 years experience in Dataverse tables and uses.
  • 4 years experience in Power Pages portals.
  • 4 years experience in Power Platform Center Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.


Desired Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience with Power Platform mobile apps, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and PowerApps portal.
  • 2 years of communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
  • 2 years of good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on

the project.
  • 2 years of working independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
  • 2 years of experience in Agile development and sprint planning.
  • 2 years of working independently as well as collaboration across teams.

Reports to: Program Manager

Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
  • Must reside in the Austin area.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
  • Travel costs, per diem, and other related expenses must be pre-approved in compliance with State of Texas travel guidelines.
