Radar Data Analyst
On-site in Huntsville, AL
Target salary range: $87,000 - $117,000.00
Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of sensor data from MDA Ground and Flight Tests, focusing on data that feeds the Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system.
- Evaluate radar sensor performance across various MDS elements to support target tracking, discrimination, and system effectiveness.
- Perform electronic warfare impact assessments, including Electronic Attack (EA) and Electronic Protection (EP) effects.
- Contribute to technical reports, presentations, and actionable insights for Government stakeholders.
- Collaborate across multiple organizations to deliver timely analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Utilize tools such as Matlab, Linux, and PowerPoint to support data processing, analysis, and briefings.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
Active Secret security clearance (required at time of application).
5+ years of radar data analysis experience, including MDS-related sensors.
Proficiency with:
Matlab
Linux
Microsoft PowerPoint
Hands-on experience with at least two MDS elements, preferably including:
C2BMC
AN/TPY-2, CDU, UEWR, SBX, or LRDR
Ability to assess and mitigate technically complex data anomalies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
- Familiarity with:
- MDA Ground Test / Flight Test CONOPS
- C2BMC message structure
- Specialized tools: BMC, APODS, EAB, CXEDT
- Experience in analyzing EA/EP radar data.
- Proven ability to present technical findings to Government stakeholders.
