Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in Federal Service.
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: managing a warehouse operations function such as receiving, shipping disposition, OR experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), or similar system, OR advising on capital asset and property management initiatives, programs, products, and services.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, 90 days after competitive appointment requirements and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Help
- Directs and manages the development, implementation, and continuing operations of innovative logistics support strategies and tactics for providing critical DISA HQ supply and logistics services.
- Manages the development, implementation, and enforcement of cost-effective sustainable logistics solutions for the management, accountability, and control of DISA personal property and publishes such in local and agency wide policy and procedures.
- Supervises and directs the DISA HQ Logistics management staff.
- Performs complex contract administration, to include performance of modification actions and initiation of receiving reports until final delivery of services and payments are completed and contract is closed and retired.
- Attends conferences and working meetings to promote, defend, justify, and explain in detail capital asset and property management initiatives, programs, products, and services.
