Job Description

As a Security Guard - Secret Clearance Required in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and attentive service. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional communication, and support a secure environment for clients and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or behaviors.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while adhering to Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.
• Support emergency response protocols and provide assistance during drills and/or actual emergency events as directed by site management or Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
