Join JRC's System Engineering & Integration Team as an experienced Senior Program Analyst who is a proven team leader with Strategic Weapons System (SWS) technical and/or military experience with military programs and programmatic analysis. In this critical role, you will provide fleet, end user, perspective during analysis of Design-Build-Sustainment (DBS) processes. You will also support Technical Program Management oversight and provide team members with technical direction and analytical expertise to improve a wide range of SWS/Fire Control (FC)-related products .

What You'll Do

  • Provide fleet, end user, perspective during analysis of the SWS/FC Design-Build-Sustainment (DBS) processes.
  • Support the delivery and update of Government Furnished Equipment/Information (GFE/GFI).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to coordinate between contractor and Navy organizations about Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) and other SSBN related systems.
  • Engage with other OHIO and Vanguard Class programs and their contractors.
  • Provide direct support of the SP23 Fire Control Branch. Providing support to manage system engineering efforts related to the design/delivery/sustainment of SWS and Fire Control Subsystems for the OHIO and Vanguard Class SSBN.
  • Facilitate timely decisions by cognizant team members in the review and adjudication of design products and written correspondence by the appropriate SSP technical stakeholders.
  • Support SSP SWS related commitments, tracking and reporting status.
  • Attend weekly meetings and other applicable meetings required to support the SWS/FC schedule.
  • Development and oral delivery of briefings for senior SP23 leadership.
  • Conduct documentation reviews using technical expertise , focusing on Maintenance Procedures, Technical Documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support Manning, Training, and Assessment meetings on behalf of the SP23 Branch.
  • Evaluate program planning documents and develop program plans, activities, and schedules to ensure successful program performance.
  • Provide information and advice to senior-level SP23 Branch members and perform other duties as assigned by appropriate authority .


What You Bring

  • 10+ years of SWS/SSBN experience.
  • An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level or held one in good standing in the past 2 years.
  • Program Management experience.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment with little direction, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks.
  • Experience with Navy Correspondence Manual and SECNAV Directives Management Manual.
  • Excellent communicator who is comfortable in front of large teams and senior Defense Department leaders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
  • Experience leading a technical team to accomplish time-critical objectives .
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, high-visibility situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
