The Work

The candidate will be an important member of the engineering team responsible for the integration and maintenance activities to support infrastructure, events, experiments, and demonstrations at the LM Center for Innovation (CFI). Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of Audio-Visual hardware/software in a high paced laboratory environment. The candidate will use sound technical knowledge and skills along with established processes/tools to maintain systems and solve complex problems. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Tech-Ops team to achieve CFI stakeholder objectives. The candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. The successful candidate will work in an environment requiring interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.

Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have knowledge of Audio-Visual infrastructure hardware and software support, installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair activities in a customer-focused lab environment. They must have the ability to read and interpret technical, systems and schematic drawings/documentation. The candidate must have skills necessary in conducting technical analysis of product or system implementations and corrective actions. The ability to work and interact in an environment requiring cooperation and coordination with other teams and customers groups. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and results-focused with good communication skills. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Hardware and software support experience in customer lab environment. 3-5 years experience with complex A/V systems/environments along with network configuration and troubleshooting experience. Knowledge or experience with Extron/Crestron systems and devices. Experience working in classified/access-controlled facilities. Ability to communicate technical information to internal audiences.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
