The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is hiring this Spring for a full-time Associate Operations Research Analyst in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will participate in project teams to:
  • Assist in the analysis of the performance of DoD programs and systems, with emphasis on NC3 mission effectiveness, resilience, and operational readiness.
  • Conduct data collection and specification reviews to support NC3 system-of-systems assessments.
  • Assist in the design and development of system-of-systems models of NC3 architectures using commercial and proprietary MBSE tools, and execute modeling and simulation analysis to evaluate operational scenarios.
  • Perform post-processing data analysis and interpretation of NC3 modeling and simulation outputs, identifying trends, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of deliverables, including technical presentations and written reports of findings and recommendations, with a focus on NC3 system performance and mission assurance.
  • Participate in customer meetings and briefings, providing analytic support and contributing to discussions on NC3 modeling, simulation, and analysis results.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and work full time on-site at Offutt AFB.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, physical science, operations research, data science, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university.
  • 0-2 years experience with systems engineering methods, tools, and processes.
  • 0-2 years experience using Modeling and Simulation software to represent physical systems and conduct statistical analysis.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience conducting analysis for the Department of Defense / War (DoD/DoW).
  • Experience supporting NC3 or C4ISR system-of-systems analysis, including mission-level modeling and operational assessments.
  • Experience with Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparks EA).
  • Experience with MBSE languages and frameworks (SysML, UML, UAF, or UPDM).
  • Experience using Python, "R", or other programming languages.
  • Experience using data visualization software (e.g., Tableau).
