Data Intelligence is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Specialist 3 to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in cybersecurity, systems engineering, and Information Assurance (IA), with specialized experience in Communications Security (COMSEC) and Cryptologic Material Systems (CMS) for Advanced Tactical Data Links (ATDL) systems. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, coordinating IT security programs, and supporting mission-critical systems for government clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of system security policies, ensuring compliance with change management and configuration control processes.
- Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies that support the command leadership mission and operational goals.
- Conduct Information Assurance (IA) evaluations for ATDL systems, ensuring compliance with security standards, including Communications Security (COMSEC) and Cryptologic Material Systems (CMS).
- Provide expertise in the design, integration, and testing of secure data units, ensuring that cryptographic keying materials and keys meet security requirements.
- Develop and implement modernized cryptographic policy and ensure its effective administration across systems.
- Perform Security Verification Testing (SVT) to assess the security posture of systems.
- Conduct platform cybersecurity and TEMPEST testing to ensure systems meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and cybersecurity standards.
- Act as an alternate Advanced Tactical Data Links Keymat Controlling Authority (CONAUTH) for the management and issuance of keymat to operational, test, and allied communities.
- Participate in U.S. Naval Fleet technical data calls, working groups, and action items related to the initial implementation of ATDL cryptographic components.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10 years of demonstrated technical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Evaluation, or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) (formerly Certification & Accreditation (C&A)) in the last 15 years.
- Expertise in all phases of Information Assurance (IA) evaluations involving Communications Security (COMSEC) and Cryptologic Material Systems (CMS) for ATDL systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in secure data unit design, integration, and testing for military communication systems.
- Expertise in cryptographic key management and the implementation of cryptographic policies.
- Strong experience with Security Verification Testing (SVT), Platform Cybersecurity, and TEMPEST testing.
- Proven experience in managing and issuing keymat to operational, test, and allied communities.
- Ability to provide leadership and coordination in cryptographic systems support and training for COMSEC ATDL military systems.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in or supporting U.S. Naval Fleet technical data calls, action items, and working groups related to ATDL cryptographic components.
- Previous experience acting as the alternate Advanced Tactical Data Links Keymat Controlling Authority (CONAUTH).
- Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies and guidelines.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
