Role and Responsibilities
Develop, document, test, and debug software solutions addressing complex business and mission challenges.
Apply industry standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
Diagnose and resolve integration issues among applications and implement fixes/enhancements per program guidelines.
Work in a Linux environment with relational databases and client-server applications.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, program stakeholders, and DoD contractor personnel using strong communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
Principal (Level 3): BS in STEM + 5 years experience OR MS in STEM + 3 years OR PhD in STEM + 1 year.
Sr. Principal (Level 4): BS in STEM + 8 years experience OR MS in STEM + 6 years OR PhD in STEM + 4 years.
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph at time of application.
Expertise in data warehousing technologies (relational/non-relational databases, SQL, analytics).
Hands-on experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL on Linux.
Full lifecycle project development experience.
Proficiency in scripting languages (bash, PLSQL, Python) for automation and database operations.
Agile team experience.
Security+ Certification.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Bitbucket, Git, Jira.
Strong documentation skills for design, processes, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Automation experience using Ansible for distribution and operational processes.
DevOps experience (Ansible, VMware, Kubernetes, container deployments).
Systems administration across Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments.
Advanced STEM degree (MS or higher).
