SABG is hiring for a Senior FM Certification Lead to support the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM) in the implementation and sustainment of the Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP). This position requires an experienced financial management professional with deep knowledge of DoD FM policy, workforce certification standards, and enterprise training programs. Occasional CONUS travel for training events, certification meetings, and stakeholder engagements (approximately 2–4 trips per year).
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Serve as the Lead Component Administrator (LCA) for the Department of the Air Force Financial Management Certification Program
Track initial certifications and continuing education/training (CET) status, coordinate with Command and Field-Level Component Administrators (CAs), conduct policy and data analysis, manage certification dashboards aggregating data from multiple sources (DCPDS, milPDS, FM LMS), and deliver quarterly enterprise training
Ensure adherence to DoDI 1300.26, AFI 65-117, and OUSD(C) policy, as well as maintaining certification dashboards, training documentation, and compliance reporting
Lead Component Administrator duties Course Mapping & Inventory Management; and Dashboard Development & Maintenance
Ensure readiness and professional development of the FM workforce across the Department of the Air Force enterprise
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Human Capital, Business Administration
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in DoD financial management
Minimum 4 years of experience serving as a Lead Component Administrator (LCA) or equivalent at the OUSD(C) or Component level within the last 5 years, with demonstrated working knowledge of:
DoDI 1300.26
AFI 65-117
DoD Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in course to competency (C2C) mapping for DFMCP, tracking certification/CET status, delivering enterprise training, and managing FM certification content via SharePoint and Teams.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Power BI or Tableau
Thorough understanding of:
NDAA 2012
DoDI 1300.26, AFI 65-117 , DoD Financial Management Certification Program
DoD7000.14-R, Financial Management Regulation
5 USC §4103. Establishment of training programs
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Financial Management, Education, or Human Resources.
Experience managing DoD financial certification tracking systems or LMS environments.
Familiarity with course-to-competency (C2C) mapping, CET tracking, and enterprise compliance dashboards.
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR)
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
Experience with SQL or database query languages for data extraction and validation
Knowledge of DoD RMF and security compliance for data systems
Familiarity with Section 508 compliance for digital training materials
Experience drafting or contributing to Air Force Instructions (AFIs) or DoD Instructions (DoDIs)
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise in DoD FM certification policy, training program administration, and data analysis.
Demonstrated experience with SharePoint, Teams, and enterprise-level certification management tools.
Ability to develop and deliver policy guidance, training sessions, and compliance briefings.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and data integrity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Ability to interpret and apply complex policy and regulatory guidance to real-world workforce certification challenges.
Experience developing executive dashboards and compliance tracking metrics
Ability to identify data quality issues, root causes, and recommend remediation actions
Experience aggregating and analyzing data from multiple disparate systems
SUPERVISION: This position works under general direction from the SABG Program Director and in coordination with the Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The Senior FM Certification Lead serves as the senior subject matter expert on all DFMCP matters and provides technical oversight and guidance to supporting staff and Component Administrators across the enterprise.
SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
SharePoint and DoD collaboration platforms
DoD and DAF certification tracking systems, including DCPDS, milPDS, and FM LMS
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred
Database management and data aggregation from multiple sources
