Position Summary
ANSER is seeking a Strategic Communication Lead to plan, implement, and manage comprehensive communication strategies for JPEO-CBRND. In this role you will ensure alignment across DoD organizations and supporting senior leadership outreach.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans for JPEO-CBRND.
- Write speeches, talking points, video scripts, and outreach materials.
- Plan and manage conferences, ceremonies, and stakeholder events.
- Conduct communication gap analyses and implement synchronization plans.
- Coordinate messaging across multiple DoD entities.
- Review and edit executive correspondence and publications.
- Develop monthly deliverables including speeches, letters, and awards.
- Mentor staff on communication best practices.
- Provide counsel to senior leaders on engagement and public affairs.
- Support up to 11 CONUS trips annually for events and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance.
- Minimum 15 years' experience with DoD CBRND
- Bachelor's degree
- PMP certification
- Prior experience developing executive-level communication planning and writing.
- Prior event management and DoD public affairs experience.
