What You'll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, keeping in mind the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, adhering to strict protocols required in this environment.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to report observations, incidents, and/or potential concerns.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain alert to potential security-related issues, providing timely notification to the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Security License for Texas.
- Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
