Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator to join a federal program out of the Colorado Springs, CO area. The SQL Database Administrator will design, optimize and maintain database systems that support critical applications. *This role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and is fully on-site*
Responsibilities of the SQL DBA:
· Develop and optimize SQL reporting queries to support business and application needs
· Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime
· Perform database performance tuning and SQL statement optimization
· Review and implement database design changes for scalability and reliability
· Write and maintain SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
Qualifications of the SQL DBA:
· 3+ years of professional experience writing/ tuning SQL queries
· Experience in IT delivery and/or operations
· SQL coding and scripting experience required
· Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration and SQL
· Experience supporting large-scale mission critical federal programs
· Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
· Bachelor's degree in related field

Compensation for the SQL DBA includes:
· Salary Range: Between $120,000 - $145,000 depending on experience
