QSSHire is partnering with a secure government customer to identify an Applications Developer to provide development services supporting mission-critical functions. This role supports continued development of an application currently under active development and is performed in a collaborative environment spanning multiple branches and directorates.
This opportunity is ideal for a developer with advanced front-end web development expertise who can also operate comfortably across the full application stack.
In This Role, You’ll:
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications supporting mission-critical operations
Contribute to the continued development of an existing application in an Agile team environment
Build modern, responsive front-end interfaces while supporting backend services as needed
Develop and integrate complex RESTful APIs
Collaborate across multiple technical teams and stakeholders
Work with structured and unstructured data across multiple database technologies
Deploy, test, and troubleshoot applications in Linux-based, cloud-hosted environments
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions
You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
Strong experience in front-end and web application development
Demonstrated full-stack development experience
Proficiency with:
Python
JavaScript
REST API development and integration
Experience working in collaborative, multi-team development environments
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with:
PySpark
Vue.js
Nuxt.js
Viz.js
AWS experience, including S3 and EC2
Experience with:
Relational databases
