Job Description
Ennoble First is seeking a Case Management Engineer to support the implementation, operation, and sustainment of enterprise cyber case management capabilities. This role focuses on configuring and maintaining case management platforms that support incident response, cyber operations, investigations, and operational task tracking across complex Government environments.
The Case Management Engineer works closely with cybersecurity operations, engineering, and mission stakeholders to ensure case workflows, integrations, and reporting capabilities align with operational requirements and support timely, consistent response actions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, operate, and sustain cyber case management platforms in enterprise Government environments
- Design and implement case workflows supporting incident intake, triage, investigation, escalation, remediation, and closure
- Integrate case management platforms with SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, endpoint, and threat intelligence tools
- Develop and maintain automation to support case creation, enrichment, assignment, and status tracking
- Configure dashboards, metrics, and reporting to support operational visibility and leadership decision-making
- Monitor platform health, performance, and workflow execution
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, integration issues, data synchronization problems, and performance degradation
- Support cybersecurity operations teams by ensuring consistent and auditable case handling processes
- Collaborate with SOC analysts, engineers, and mission partners to refine workflows and operational procedures
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user guidance
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity operations, IT service management, or enterprise IT systems
- 3+ years of experience configuring or administering case management, ticketing, or workflow platforms
- 2+ years of experience deploying, hosting, monitoring, and securing solutions for Government customers
- Strong understanding of incident response, cyber operations, and operational workflow management
- Experience integrating platforms using APIs, connectors, or data pipelines
- Experience administering Linux-based or cloud-hosted platforms
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility
Education
Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or
Master's degree and 1+ year of experience supporting IT projects and activities
Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Certifications
DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND)
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support certification (e.g., CEH, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND) within 30 days of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing case management platforms such as ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management, or similar tools
- Experience supporting SOC, IR, or cyber mission operations
- Familiarity with SOAR platforms and automated response workflows
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Compensation
Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000
The Ennoble First pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered include responsibilities of the role, education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and applicable laws.
