Job Description
Performs first-level assistance in the Air Force Circuit Management Office (CMO), as part of the Air Force Long Haul Communications (LHC) contract. Works with Air Force customers worldwide that are requesting new or changes to network circuit connections or telecommunication services. Tracks and monitors user requirements until completion.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform all LHC circuit and service provisioning functions in accordance with US Air Force and DoD directives
- Analyze telecommunications circuit orders (DISA TSRs, TSOs, etc.)
- Utilize the TCOSS platform for management and tracking of requirements
- Create circuit orders in DISA Storefront or Marketplace and ensure all orders are accurate and contain all the required documentation
- Manage, coordinate, and execute the Expired Communication Service Authorization (CSA) program for Air Force requirements; review DISA's TIBI application to check status of CSAs
- Provide assistance to Air Force LHC customers including, but not limited to, MAJCOMs, their subordinate units, Combatant Commands, and Air Force base tenants on LHC related issues
- Identify LHC circuits and CSAs that are no longer being utilized and in coordination with the customer, develop and successfully execute discontinue orders for those circuits to minimize costs and recapture funds
- Transition communications circuits/services from expiring contracts to new contracts
- Review customer requirements and DISA solutions to ensure proper circuit design and engineering to accommodate the customer's needs
- Document actions and deliverables in support of the contract
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
- 2-4 years working in network, systems or telecommunications operations desired.
- Bachelor's degree desired. Related experience or military experience in related field can substitute for formal education.
Certifications
- None required
Security Clearance
- SECRET required (yet person may start work with an approved INTERIM SECRET clearance)

- Work is full time On-site at Scott AFB office - Telework is occasionally authorized by the government on bad weather days and some selected Holiday periods.
