Job Title: Journeyman NetOps Engineer

Description:
C3EL is seeking a cleared and experienced Journeyman NetOps Engineer to join our team on-site at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL. This position supports the Global Solutions Management-Operations II (GSM-O II) Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE). The JCSE team provides en-route, early entry, scalable C4 support to Regional Combatant Commands, Special Operations Command, and other agencies.
( This role is considered "Mission Essential" and may require supporting 24x7 Network Operations including 12 hour shifts as required. )

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc.)
- Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
- Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
- Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.
- Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.
- Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent).
- Current CCNA or equivalent certification.
Education:
- Requires a High School diploma and 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
