Position Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: Top Secret
YOE: 8
Degree: BS
Certifications: N/A
Salary: $170,000
This is a DevOps Engineer opportunity with AnaVation supporting the FBI on the newly awarded SCOR33 contract. SCOR33 is the new reiteration of the STOR163 contract and was just awarded in September for 5 years fully funded. AnaVation has been working on this contract since it was known as STOR163 and the new prime on the contract is Noblis. SCOR33 is a contract focused on delivering new case agent applications that are used in the realms of forensics and cyber investigation. It's a large contract with over 50 FTEs.
We are looking for a developer with 8 years of experience and a BS Degree. They should have a background in Systems Engineering, Systems Administration DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Development, etc. for those 8 years. They need to have some typical DevOps experience: Automation tools like Ansible, IaC tools like Terraform, containerization tools, etc.
The position requires a Top Secret clearance. Candidates need to be comfortable sitting for the CI Poly, which usually happens 30-60 days after being hired.
The position is full time on site in Chantilly, VA at the Mission Ridge buildings, which is directly across the street from the AnaVation HQ. This contract was FTOS before COVID, and then was 50% on site up until the administration change. We can tell people there's a chance for hybrid work down the road, but it's very unclear between the new prime, current administration, etc. so we can't really make any actual promises.
The interview process is 1 interview with Kim Bricker the FBI Account Director and then also a SWE at AnaVation. Then we will do a offer contingent upon prime approval, which if they accept we will set up a prime interview.
We are targeting 150-170K
Technical Questions
1. What programming languages or scripting languages are you most comfortable with?
2. Tell me about your DevOps experience. What types of projects have you worked on in this realm? What types of DevOps tools have you used and for what?
