Job Summary:

As the AF DCGS Exercise Integration and Manager, you will serve as a vital contributor to A3/2D, leveraging your expertise as an Exercise Subject Matter Expert (SME) to oversee all aspects of AF DCGS exercise planning, participation, programming, personnel management, and doctrine development. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless coordination and documentation of exercise requirements while providing technical support and advice across various levels of command.

Essential Functions:

  • Extensive experience and proficiency in exercise planning and management within the context of AF DCGS and intelligence programs.
  • Strong ability to manage coordination and documentation of exercise requirements in alignment with division leadership directives.
  • Exceptional skill in preparing detailed requirement descriptions to support AF and Joint exercise requirements, along with reviewing, editing, and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain accuracy.
  • Demonstrated capability to provide technical support, assistance, and advice on exercise matters at the MAJCOM, Service, Joint, and Intelligence Community (IC) levels.
  • Familiarity with AF DCGS and intelligence programs experimentation planning, operational exercises, and system development, including integration activities.
  • Knowledge of DoD, Service, and IC doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and the ability to integrate them into exercise development and training.
  • Proven experience in representing MAJCOM-level interests in drafting, reviewing, and editing AF DCGS operations policy and guidance documents related to training and exercise programs.
  • Strong proficiency in participating in, monitoring, planning, and administering meetings, working groups, and other training and exercise planning forums.
  • Ability to collect warfighter feedback from exercises and events to identify requirements and propose recommended training adjustments.
  • Capability to develop and maintain research materials, including presentations, relevant to planned exercises, and present findings to Government leaders semi-annually or as required.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Security clearance: Top Secret (SCI eligibility required).
  • 10 yrs Expertise in exercise planning and management within AF DCGS and intelligence programs.
  • Strong coordination and documentation skills to ensure exercise requirements are accurately captured and aligned with leadership directives.
  • Excellent technical support and advice capabilities across various levels of command.
  • Familiarity with DoD, Service, and IC doctrine and TTPs, and the ability to integrate them into exercise development and training.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Intel related field
  • Master's degree preferred
