Spathe Systems is seeking an Enlisted Academy (EA) Senior Instructor for the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Clearance: TOP SECRET clearance required; SCI eligible

Job Description:

SPATHE is looking for a qualified person to support our multi-year contract with the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of USSOCOM. As an EA Senior Instructor, provide Task Lead, staff, faculty, and JSOU students instructional subject matter expertise support that assist in the execution of JSOU's educational support services with emphasis on military studies.

The candidate shall perform the following tasks:

• Responsible for the integration and instruction of an educational framework of senior enlisted leader development centered on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), Commander USSOCOM and Special Operations peculiar (SOF-P) approved learning areas, outcomes and enlisted desired leader attributes (EDLAs).
• Assess, advise, and mentor students at Senior PME level (Grades E8 to E9).
• Develop lessons, teach, and assess students in courses related, but not limited to, profession of arms, leadership and communications, Joint interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) capabilities, and policy-to-action.
• Deliver and teach in blended program courses of instructions with a focus on a seminar-based teaching team.
• Engage in research in teaching and learning, research and analysis, as well as service, outreach and engagement that advances knowledge in selected fields.
• Perform research and conduct peer-to-peer outreach with SOF and conventional forces on national security affairs and joint operations related subjects to keep course material updated.
• Design and prepare lesson plans to facilitate seminar dialogue, lecture, guide student research, and assess student performance.

Qualifications

• MA/MS required in any field. Degree must be from a regionally accredited U.S. college/university or internationally recognized college/university.
• 15 years' experience within the SOF community.
• 10 years' experience with DoD and Interagency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Special Operations doctrine and application.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in joint SOF headquarters, Theater Special Operations Command and/or GCC.
• Graduate of senior service PME School or JSOFSEA (U.S. or foreign).
• Experience as an instructor, project, or program manager.
• Demonstrated ability/experience using educational learning technology.

Work Location: JSOU Campus, MacDill AFB, FL

Schedule: 0800-1700 Mon-Fri adjusted hours as needed.

Travel: Travel is required to various CONUS and OCONUS locations, including hazardous sites. The candidate may travel as initiated by written tasking.
