Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol in Port Clinton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting mobile patrols and responding to situations as they arise. This driving post also involves delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual conditions encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to support a secure environment in the aerospace and defense setting.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures.
• Document and submit detailed reports on incidents and daily activities as required by Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
