Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The Administrative Support Specialist shall provide a wide variety of administrative support services daily in support of the Office of Military Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assignment, distribution, coordination, and tracking of all taskers and prepare a daily status report on their status.
  • Submit and track requests, including trouble tickets and work orders.
  • Prepare, update, and submit official letters, reports, rosters, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Receive telephone calls, greet, and escort visitors, including, but not limited to, 9/11 victims/family members, non-governmental organizations (NGO), media, witnesses, and panel members.
  • Monitor and review office correspondence, ensuring proper format, grammar, accuracy, coordination, and overall quality and conformance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain office files, records, and security containers/systems to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidance to include DoD and other Agency Records Management rules.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of office calendars and appointment/meeting schedules.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings and events.
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and conferences.
  • Publish a summary of meeting minutes.
  • Transport and distribute official mail and administrative correspondence.
  • Prepare acquisition packets for review and submission, including GPC Requests, Military Inter-Departmental Requests, and contracts.
  • Assist in maintaining accountability of all OMC equipment on the Property Book.
  • Perform inventories of equipment. This may require PPE, like in warehouses, to inventory property.
  • Conduct market research for acquisition purposes.
  • Assist in moving small, lightweight furniture and items.
  • Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
  • Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be familiar with various office automation software applications and equipment, including government computer systems that utilize the Microsoft Office Application Suite, as well as shared drives required to access data to accomplish work, including text editing, file creation, maintenance, and retrieval.
  • Possess experience utilizing General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) or complete GFEBS and DPAS training within 2 months after being requested to do so by the government.
  • Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requested.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as required.
