Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge, gained through education and/or experience, to accomplish the work necessary to develop deliverable products from engineering documentation and drawings.
  • Perform a variety of complex technical duties including the fabrication, assembly, test, troubleshooting, analysis, evaluation, modification, and operation of complex electrical and electronic circuits and equipment in support of defense systems.
  • Perform complex repairs including replacement of components parts based on troubleshooting results.
  • Assemble components in accordance with instructions.
  • Fabricate cable assemblies and prototype units and integrate these into larger systems.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of other lower-level technicians and personnel to assure maximum efficiencies of group activities in meeting task requirements.


This position is intended to start as a first-shift position, with plans to convert to second-shift in early 2026.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of six years of directly related work experience as an aviation technician per the above stated position duties with emphasis on cable harness fabrication
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical test equipment
  • IPC 620 standard certification
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen that possesses, or has the ability to obtain, a Secret Clearance


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in shop procedures and techniques
  • Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related field or military technical training program or completion of technical institute program.
  • Experience in compiling data related to the design, technical specifications and components materials needed for finished units, making corrections to drawings, documenting changes found during prototype assembly. Development of engineering change data. Design and fabrication prototype assemblies and design board layouts using design tools.
  • Experience in using various RF measurement equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers with the ability to utilize equipment to perform testing and troubleshooting functions.
  • FCC certified, RADAR optional
