This position will be based at Pyeongtaek, Korea
Responsibilities:
Provide enterprise architecture support to advance the Department of Defense's (DoD) digital transformation goals. This includes developing, maintaining, and aligning architecture artifacts and transformation roadmaps with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards.
Support the creation of architecture views that facilitate capability development, system integration, and acquisition planning, while ensuring architectural coherence across components. Emphasis shall be placed on leveraging emerging technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), and advanced data analytics to inform future-state architectures that are secure, scalable, and strategically aligned with mission objectives.
Support cross-JDIR information systems analysis for future HHQ and DoD transformation analysis, recommend improvements to CFC/UNC/USFK C2 networks, digital infrastructure and interdependencies between operations and information systems.
Participate in IT architecture conferences and DoD Boards, Bureaus, Centers, Cells, and Working Groups (B2C2WG) to collaborate on DoD and theater initiatives.
Ensure seamless integration of new technologies and system upgrades into existing USFK networks and C2 systems.
Provide IT Integration Plans with plan of action and milestones (POA&Ms) in a timely manner for each project, task, and technical solution assigned. These plans must demonstrate interoperability of all hardware and software components.
Integrate, synchronize, and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders and organizations.
Provide site Survey Reports staff integration, installation authorized service interruption (ASI) and O&M plans during operations and transition activities in accordance with the organization's requirements management processes.
Provide subject matter expertise to support the Government in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) for emerging technologies. This includes providing clear and actionable technical recommendations regarding system utilization and sustainment strategies.
Ensure CONOPS deliverables align with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) policies, procedures, and best practices governing the operation, deployment, and maintenance of the DoD Information Network (DoDIN).
Provide comprehensive IT program and project management support in accordance with industry project management principles and meet applicable DoD and federal statutory and regulatory requirements.
Perform an active role in B2C2WG sessions, coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful IT project execution.
Formulate technical solutions for interoperability requirements adhering to USFK change management plans and DoD guidance.
Develop, document, and maintain key US and ROK interoperability requirements in alignment with USFK configuration management plans and DoD guidance.
Propose solutions, research new technologies, and analyze potential impacts to interoperability with a focus on technical issues across all levels of the OSI model. They will leverage Korean language proficiency for direct communication and collaboration with ROK engineers, and will deliver solutions and updates through written documentation and briefings.
Provide technical and interoperability subject matter expertise and support for all related C4I/C2 cost share program coordination and requirements.
Data engineering and architecture roles focus on building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that collect, store, and process data for the entire organization.
The Data Architect designs the blueprint for the organization's data management systems. This includes creating the frameworks for data integration, storage, and retrieval to ensure scalability and reliability.
The Data Engineer builds, maintains, and optimizes the data pipelines and infrastructure. Their work ensures that clean, reliable data is available for data scientists and analysts.

Qualifications:
Lead for Theater Architecture Support (Task 8)
Able to model US Networks and Mission Partner environments used by CFC/UNC/USFK Forces. Possesses a technical understanding of theater level network architectures and technologies needed to build, operate, maintain, sustain, extend and employ C5ISRT capabilities.
Required: Five (5) or more years of experience in DODAF modeling and viewpoints, creating network diagrams in Visio, a configuration management and QA principles. Current certification in ITIL 4, PMP, SCRUM, CITA, CTA, or TOGAF (or industry equivalent)
Security Level: Secret Clearance
Preferred: A Korean DLI Qualification level of 2/2/2 (Comprehension, Reading, and Speaking)
