Apex Systems is currently hiring for Software Engineers with a DoD client.
Project Details / Mission Supported:
* Design and develop **high-performance, modular C++ software** for software-defined digital solid-state radar systems in compliance with military standards.
* Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and stakeholders to architect and integrate C++ components into complex radar systems.
* Implement advanced algorithms for signal processing and real-time data handling using **modern C++ (C++11/14/17)**.
* Optimize code for scalability, reliability, and low-latency performance in mission-critical environments.
* Conduct unit, integration, and system-level testing with a focus on C++ applications.
* Apply Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Support advanced radar technology initiatives and embedded systems development.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
* Expertise in C++ development, including object-oriented programming, templates, and STL.
* Experience with **real-time systems**, multithreading, and performance optimization in C++.
* Familiarity with **CMake**, cross-compilation, and build systems for C++ projects.
* Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for simulation and scripting tasks (desired).
* Functional knowledge or interest in Radar or Electronic Warfare systems and components.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
