Title: SAP TM Consultant
Location: 100% Remote (with 25–50% travel)
Duration: 1+ Year Contract
Contract: Supporting Defense Logistics Agency
Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for Public Trust
Overview:
We are seeking experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) consultants to join a large-scale implementation project for the Defense Logistics Agency. This role involves hands-on configuration, functional expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP TM solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze transportation management requirements from clients and stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP TM implementation.
• Configure and customize SAP TM modules, including transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, and optimization.
• Perform functional testing and resolve defects to ensure quality deliverables.
• Create documentation, training materials, and user guides for SAP TM processes.
• Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support.
• Collaborate with technical teams for integration, data migration, and interface development.
• Stay current on SAP TM enhancements and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–10 years of SAP TM functional experience with hands-on configuration.
• At least one full lifecycle SAP TM implementation.
• U.S. Citizen (eligible for Public Trust clearance).
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred:
• SAP TM certification or relevant SAP certifications.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with ECC or S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate or ASAP methodology.
