What does this role look like?
As a Senior Program Manager, you will be part of the Avionics Directorate and be responsible for:
• Cost, schedule, and technical commitments for the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) portion of the Avionics modernization portfolio.
• FY28 proposal & Modernization Strategic Planning (MSP) inputs for EGSE scope.
• Closely partnering with the Navy Customers, Avionics teams, and other functions to effectively execute the contracted scope.
• Serve on the FBM Program Leadership Team (PLT) representing EGSE.
• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.
• Coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of Engineering Test projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
• Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers.
• Plan, Prepare and brief Navy customers and other program stakeholders on a monthly cadence or on an as needed basis.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville, FL. , and be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Program Management experience on large and complex development programs.
• Prior direct customer interface experience.
• Demonstrated experience of planning and executing a development program balancing cost, schedule and technical.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
• Strong understanding of Electrical, Software and Systems Engineering.
• FBM program (PM) experience and customer interface experience.
• Experience working at the LM Cape Canaveral facilities.
• Electrical Ground Support equipment (EGSE) development experience.
• Secret clearance with ability to get top secret clearance.
• Subcontract management experience with internal and external suppliers.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
