THE WORK
The Maintenance Manager - Stratford, CT will partner with Sikorsky Innovations test-program aircraft managers and program leadership to guide daily operations for OPV maintenance technicians across technical, manufacturing, and administrative functions. This role supports maintenance, development, and test projects located in Stratford, CT.
Key responsibilities include:
-Schedule & Budget Performance: Ensure all work meets established timelines and cost targets.
-Technical Leadership: Drive OPV maintenance and modification efforts by coordinating with the HSV/Field Maintenance & Operations Support Manager on resource planning, tooling, and material requirements.
-Project Planning: Collaborate with Sikorsky Innovations and test-program staff to develop project plans, statements of work/BOEs, tooling specifications, and manpower forecasts.
-Staffing & Labor Management: Determine appropriate staffing levels, engage external labor suppliers as needed, and maintain compliance with program budgets and schedules to achieve mission success.
-Business Office Liaison: Serve as the primary interface with the Commercial, Government, and Engineering Business Offices for Sikorsky Innovations maintenance proposals.
-Customer & Program Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for internal program issues and external customer project reviews, evaluating cost, schedule, and technical performance.
A solid understanding of Part 145 aviation maintenance operations is required.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years experience in a supervisory role.
5+ years of H-60 aircraft maintenance experience
Ability to research and understand technical data such as Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Blueprints, Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Desired Skills:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
