Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2026 in "Rocket City" Huntsville, Al. .
In this role, you will explore and develop your systems engineering understanding of requirements development and integration. You will work on the Weapon System Integration team and get valuable experience working with many engineering disciplines to find solutions to integration related challenges.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
• Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a relevant engineering discipline
• Microsoft Office experience (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience with analyzing and resolving technical problems or projects
• Eligibility to obtain Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in complex problem solving requiring multidisciplinary thinking
• Experience with System or System of Systems level design
• Excellent communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and leadership.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Active or Current Secret Security clearance

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
