Description
The Cyber Event Staff member will support the planning, coordination, and execution of cybersecurity training events and simulations at the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). This role is critical to ensuring the technical readiness and operational success of Department of Defense (DoD) cyber exercises and test missions.

The Cyber Event Staff member will support the planning, coordination, and execution of cybersecurity training events and simulations at the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). This role is critical to ensuring the technical readiness and operational success of Department of Defense (DoD) cyber exercises and test missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute cyber range events in collaboration with government stakeholders and internal teams.
- Manage event timelines, technical systems, and logistics to ensure smooth execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during events for issue resolution and status updates.
- Support system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting across Windows, Linux/Unix, and virtual environments (VMware).
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, including STIGs and RMF requirements.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to after-action reports.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior event staff during execution phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, system administration and networking.
- Has at least 1-2 years of Tier 2 systems experience.
- Proficient with Windows and Linux
- Active Secret Clearance
- Strong technical background in VPNs, VMware, Cisco systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
- Certification in Security+ or Network+ required.
