US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. We are seeking an Intelligence Analyst/Trainer that can work independently - please read below!

Prospective candidates will be joining a team that is directly supporting the US SOCOM with their information sharing initiatives. Additionally, they will be part of a larger US BICES-X Training Team, Consolidated Dissemination Center (CDC), and Mission Support team responsible for large scale dissemination, sharing, and collaboration projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides analysis and research for national security, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.
  • Prepares assessments of current threats and trends based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analysis of classified and open-source information.
  • Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.
  • Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
  • Serves as a Terminal Area Security Officer (TASO) and reviews new account requests, assists with account maintenance, locked accounts, and password resets; and trains other unit TASOs within SOCOM HQ and remote sites.
  • Participates in the development, testing, maintenance and delivery of training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
  • Assists in the development and establishment of course content and objectives.
  • Conducts training sessions and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
  • Maintains records of training activities, participant progress and program effectiveness.
  • Updates course documentation on a regular basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.
  • Coordinates BICES video-teleconferences (VTCs) for users and maintains records of Flag Officer participation; assists users with VTC setup and operation and manages bridge number assignments for all VTCs.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.
  • Conducts dissemination of US produced intelligence products in support of coalition information sharing requirements.
  • Disseminates information in support of real-world efforts and utilizes best practices to ensure information is discoverable and made available to the right person at the right time and a usable format.
  • Works closely with US producers in disseminating their information to Coalition networks, to include US BICES and other mission-specific networks.
  • Provides feedback and metrics to leadership relating to production, dissemination, and consumption of products across various networks.
  • Experience researching and writing intelligence reports.
  • Provides support to users with US BICES account setup, Outlook configuration and organizational mailboxes, web portal account creation and maintenance, and other BICES-related issues to improve the effectiveness of future training activities.
  • Specific certifications or military education/training may be required, depending on job assignment.
  • Participate in bi-monthly training meetings and training sessions, with other US BICES-X trainers located in various Combatant Commands around the world, to stay connected on key enterprise-wide training issues.


Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
  • BA/BS degree - may substitute additional years of experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.
  • Knowledge of network and information technology principles, e.g., email setup and printer mapping.
  • Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with CCMD Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDO) in working to get products released to a wider audience than originally intended.
  • Experience researching and writing intelligence reports.
  • Experience supporting multinational customers preferred.
  • Experience working with deployed personnel preferred.
  • The work is typically performed at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions.
  • Position may require occasional travel, less than 20% for training and exercise support. Primarily within the continental United States.
