The USCG IPT is seeking a Program Analyst in the NCR to support the US Coast Guard Acquisition team with day-to-day program support. The Program Analyst will assist the government customer in planning, tracking, executing, and validating scope and schedule parameters. The ideal candidate will have background and experience in process improvement, project management processes, direct and professional customer-facing support, and data/stakeholder management for a large organization or enterprise.

Travel: Up to 20%

Work Location: Washington, DC - Onsite at least 3 days/week

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Provide Project Management support on cost, schedule, and performance
  • Assist in management and maintenance of PM processes, integrating all PM data points (RTM/IMS/Material, etc.)
  • Work with stakeholders to formalize requirements in SOWs and contracts
  • Review 7600Bs, SOWs, BPAs, IGSEs, contract packages, ITAR, etc.
  • Assist IPT stakeholders in conforming to policies and meeting all goals and objectives
  • Ensure sponsor needs are acted on and deliverables meet quality standards
  • Provide organizational/execution support and facilitation of meetings
  • Produce management products such as org charts, briefs, meeting minutes, etc., as needed
  • Ensure deliverables and other files/documents are appropriately produced and provided
  • Assist government customers in tracking requirements and communicating with Team personnel
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to assist in critical tasks and develop PM and IPT expertise
  • Gather, organize, and report information as needed
  • Be self-motivated, able to problem solve, think outside the box, and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment but also work independently to complete assigned tasking
  • Ensure leadership has awareness on deadline and critical information requests for applicable tasking

You Must Have:
  • US Citizenship
  • Department of Defense (DoD) Secret-level (minimum) Security Clearance
  • Strong documentation and oral communication skills to clearly communicate with all levels of employees, management, and clients
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to work independently and the initiative to complete tasking without direction
  • Excellent prioritization and coordination skills with the ability to work multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • The ability to work with others in a highly collaborative environment

Impressed if You Had:
  • A college degree is preferred, but the combination of education, professional training, or work experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Experience with US Coast Guard and/or Navy projects and programs
  • Ability to use an array of project management methods augmented by coaching and coordination skills
  • High-level of expertise with MS Office Suite, to include Project and PowerPoint
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired, not required
