Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq LLC has a future opportunity for a Contract Administrator at the National Capital Region. The Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting full lifecycle contract and order management, ensuring compliance with applicable acquisition regulations, contract terms and conditions, and internal corporate policies. This role collaborates closely with the Program Manager and corporate leadership to manage reporting requirements, proposal submissions, and contract modifications. The Contracts Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining timely, accurate, and compliant contract documentation throughout the period of performance.

Contract Acquisition & Lifecycle Support
  • Support pre-award and post-award contract actions, including proposal development, cost/pricing submissions, and negotiation preparation.
  • Interpret and apply Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR Supplements (e.g., DFARS), agency-specific clauses, policies, and contract requirements.
  • Assist in preparing contract deliverables, including monthly reports, financial data, and compliance documentation.

Contract Administration & Compliance
  • Monitor contract and order terms, performance periods, funding, options, and deliverable schedules to ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Review, analyze, and negotiate basic contract terms, task orders, subcontracts, modifications, and other contractual instruments.
  • Maintain complete and current contract files in accordance with company policies and audit-ready standards.
  • Ensure appropriate flow-down of contract clauses to subcontractors and assist with subcontract issuance as needed.

Proposal & Negotiation Support
  • Coordinate proposal inputs from program, pricing, HR, and technical teams to develop compliant, high-quality submissions.
  • Assist with fact-finding and negotiations regarding pricing, terms, modifications, and extensions.
  • Support development of contract change packages (e.g., REAs, modifications, formal cost proposals).

Program Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate closely with the Program Manager to track and submit required contract reports, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor funding levels, burn rates, contract ceilings, and period of performance; notify leadership of risk points or required actions.
  • Support internal audits, customer inquiries, and government evaluations by providing accurate, timely contract documentation.

Payrate: $86,000 to $102,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of government contract administration experience with federal contracts, task orders, or BPAs.
  • Security Clearance Required: Secret.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Working knowledge of FAR, agency supplements (e.g., DFARS), and contract acquisition processes.
  • Experience with proposal preparation, basic negotiations, and contract/order administration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and document management skills.

Preferred Qualifications or Skills:
  • Experience supporting IDIQ, BPA, FFP, and T&M contract vehicles.
  • Knowledge of government reporting tools (e.g., CPARS, WAWF, IPP, FPDS, eSRS).
  • Prior experience with subcontract administration or supplier management.
  • NCMA certification (CACM, CFCM, or CPCM) or working toward certification.
