Job Title: Altium PCB Designer
Job Location: McLeansville NC 27301
Onsite Requirements:
* PCB Design
* Altium
* Secret Clearance
Job Description:
* As a PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you'll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.
Preferred Skills or Experiences:
* A minimum of four years' experience using Altium for PCB design.
* Preferred candidates can work onsite in McLeansville North Carolina 3 or more days per week.
* Experience with Altium Designer 27 or Altium IPC footprint and schematic generators.
* Experience with library management practices in Altium or Xpedition.
* Knowledge of PCB layout tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx).
* Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition and Altium is valuable.
* 3D modeling in Solidworks, NX, or CREO.
* Experience with Footprint Expert.
* Circuit design and hands-on prototyping experience.
* Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
* In-depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.
* Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
* Documentation capture including:
* Bill of material parts lists
* ODB++ digital fabrication packages
* 3D model generation
* **Due to the nature of the work, a United States Government Clearance is required to be eligible for the position**
