Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Sr. Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to provide on-site support to our Roy, Utah Sentinel Team.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What you'll get to do:
- Lead Material Review Board review and dispositions, ensuring resolution to material and product non-conformances
- Support and represent Mission Assurance in program critical milestones including Critical Design Reviews, and Integration and Testing Activities
- Develop, analyze, and present metrics to customer and program leadership
- Provide guidance of Mission Assurance processes and requirements integration with engineering activities to varying levels of management and customers.
- Interface with manufacturing, engineering, program management, and subcontractor representatives to resolve issues and non-conformances
- Special Projects to support Mission Assurance Priorities and goals as assigned

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
• 8 Years Experience with Bachelors of Science Degree; 6 Years with Masters Degree or 4 years with PhD.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
• Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• 3+ years Managing Product Non-conformances and Supporting Material Review Board Processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industry common MRB Processing software, such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Solumina
- Experience navigating and using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, such as SAP, Solumina, or similar.
- Experience with Engineering Development Milestone Reviews such as Critical Design Reviews (CDR)
- Experience supporting integration and testing activities as part of engineering development
- Demonstrated Internal / External Customer Interface Experience
- Experience in quality management systems to support program processes, audits, and product improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results.
Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
