C2BMC is an IDIQ structured program comprised of multiple task orders responsible for the design, development, deployment, integration, testing, operations and sustainment of a software based Command/Control and Battle Management system. This system provides US Commanders around the globe essential situational awareness and is the integrating element central to the MDA's missile defense missions. The MDA Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team and collaborates with multiple government agencies, contractors, universities, and other organizations to accomplish a diverse and broad reaching mission.

A successful candidate must understand and be dedicated to the C2BMC Mission including Missile and Space Defense. The successful candidate will need to utilize good communication skills and good organizational skills to facilitate collaboration across the many organizations necessary to accomplish challenging missions. The selected candidate will join a high performing team as a C2BMC Global Operations and Maintenance Engineering Manager supporting development for the MDA C2BMC-Global line of business. The selected candidate will be assigned to the C2BMC-G Portfolio.
The Work
The Global Shift Lead reports to the Global Operations Lead and provides oversight and management for all C2BMC-Global (C2BMC-G) operations, including health monitoring and status reporting. Key responsibilities are:
• Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day C2BMC-G activities to ensure the availability, quality, and security of services essential to mission systems, command and control (C2), and information sharing. Collaborate with the C2BMC Regional CWO and the C2BMC Command Center (CCC) Lead.
• Reporting & Decision Support: Ensure all reports are accurate, keep leadership informed, recommend appropriate courses of action, and maintain real time status of all systems.
• Integrity & Training: Preserve operational integrity by guaranteeing crew members are properly trained, certified, and capable of executing assigned missions. Manage shift staffing, conduct thorough change over briefings, and verify proper manning levels.
• Shift Requirements: Work on a rotating 12 hour schedule that may include nights, weekends, and off shift substitutions; eventual 24×7 coverage is expected based on mission needs.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Possess a TS/SCI clearance and read in to the C2BMC higher than secret program
• Strong presentation and speaking skills
• Experienced in Project Management, Planning, and Resource Management
• Experience with leading personnel in operations and/or maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking
• Experience or knowledge of enterprise network, systems, and cyber defense capabilities and management
• Effective communications and ability to brief technical system and network issues and overall system reports to program management and customer leadership using appropriate tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
• Sound knowledge and practical experience to direct the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and/or Operating Instructions (OIs) to effectively administer, operate and manage services under C2BMC operational control
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; experienced in Agile methodologies and JIRA.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
