Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Electronic Measurement Equipment Mechanic Supervisor ~ without more than normal supervision. Ability to Lead or Supervise including scheduling the work of employees engaged in the maintenance of electronic or missile maintenance shops; identifying work related problems in order to recommend solutions; and providing administrative oversight of a work unit including counseling employees on job performance, and identifying training needs of subordinates. Perform duties involving electronics theory, assembly, installation, and the use of hand and power tools such as test equipment maintenance (including calibration), trouble shooting, and repair - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Education
Some Federal positions allow the substitution of education for experience. For this position, you must qualify based on experience alone.

- Serve as a technical and administrative supervisor over service, troubleshooting, repair, modification, calibration, maintenance and inspection of complex missile systems and related equipment.
- Provide worldwide support for the organization's deployed missile systems and teams.
- Plan, coordinate, and administer work directly or through subordinate leaders.
- Investigate work related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Develop employee performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and make formal and informal performance appraisals.
- Interview candidates for job vacancies and recommend selections to higher level supervisors.
- Manage employee time and attendance.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. You must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- You may be subject to a one year supervisory probationary period.
- Pre-employment and annual physical examinations are required.
- Pre-employment and random drug testing is required.
- This position may require the use of employer provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirator.
- Must meet ammunition certification requirements IAW AMCR-R 350-4, Training and Certification Program for personnel working in ammunition operations, within one year of appointment.
- This position requires travel away from the assigned duty station 10% of the time for mission and training requirements.
- This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968. Persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible for this position.
- This positon requires Comp-TIA Security+ Certification within one year of appointment.
