Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading in an ashore staff or organization supporting afloat operational units. Requires knowledge of afloat duties with requirement for communication with ships and major staffs. Experience as a lead supervisor in U. S. Navy afloat general stores and material control operations. Evidence of thorough knowledge of Depot Level Repairable / consumable parts / hazardous material ordering, receipt, issue, and inventory processes. Experience managing stock control or afloat supply department with a Coordinated Shipboard Allowance (COSAL) or Aviation Consolidated Allowance List (AVCAL). Experience managing Navy food service operations in planning the subsistence sustainment for an afloat unit. Familiarity with Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) and Department of Defense Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements of NWCF inventory plants. Demonstrated understanding and familiarity with ship port visit requirements and sourcing. Experience leading diverse teams of military, civilian and contractor personnel in operational environments.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will manage, plan, organize and direct logistics operations in support of the Littoral Combat Ships (LCSs).
- You will serve as the Director of the Logistics Support Team (LST) working directly for the Fleet Logistics Support Department Head/Deputy providing leadership, supervision, and direction to the entire LST division through subordinate supervisors.
- You will prioritize workload, assign and monitor workflow throughout the division to ensure the successful accomplishments of the logistics support functions.
- You will develop, review, and evaluate in-port and at-sea activities while analyzing mission objectives to determine timeliness, delivery, and extent of support delivered.
- You will coordinate actions will all logistics support providers, both afloat and ashore, including ordering and delivery of supplies, materials, and services.
- You will oversee all logistics management functions for the LCS including inventory accuracy, warehousing, financials, food service, HAZMAT, postal, fuel support, and Department of Defense Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance.
- You will serve as primary liaison with Naval Supply Systems Command Headquarters LCS program manager to ensure effective program execution related to resourcing, requirements, and manpower.
- You will serve as primary liaison with major fleet and ashore staffs to coordinate logistics support while accurately communicating LCS supply and material readiness to fleet decision-makers.
