Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations in a dynamic squadron environment.
- Research and compile information to create briefing charts and high-quality presentation materials.
- Maintain personnel security files (both paper and electronic) with accuracy and discretion.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, draft correspondence, route calls, and perform a range of administrative tasks, from routine to highly detailed.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of administrative support experience required; prior support to DoD/NAVAIR programs is highly valued.
- A bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu prior experience, although some administrative experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) is required.
- Familiarity with the Defense Travel System (DTS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of BASICS II (Base Access Security Information Control System) is preferred.
- You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- You possess professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- You take a proactive approach to your work and you're able to accomplish tasks with limited guidance and supervision.
- You have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Your organizational skills allow you to manage competing priorities.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
- The estimated salary range for this position will be $26.45 - $33.64 per hour, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
