Summary
All Native Group is looking to fill the position for Subject Matter Expert (SME). The Subject Matter Expert (SME) Labor Category is a key resource within TWD. TWD engages in multiple large-scale ongoing remediation, retrofit, and new buildout efforts throughout managed networks that will require comprehensive project management support and technical expertise. The SME will support these efforts and offer thought leadership to current subject matter specialists and engineers.
Essential Functions
• Serve as primary technical POC for government customer Division Level leadership to ensure
mission objectives and strategic/technical vision is executed,
• Provide strategic thought leadership and support on forward-leaning technologies that support
not only the Division's mission and objectives, but also the Office and Bureau goals and
objectives.
• Provide project and portfolio management for Division Level strategic/forward-leaning
initiatives and projects,
• Lead and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs), Pilots, Authority to Test, and Analysis of
Alternatives as it relates to Enterprise-wide initiatives,
• Provide technical management and strategic guidance to subject matter experts (SMEs) in areas
including, but not limited to, enterprise data networking, unified communications UC, WiFi, and
cloud-related Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), and
Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms.
• Create and author artifacts as it relates to technical and strategic initiatives; artifacts
include, but not limited to Executive-level briefings, Technology Roadmap(s), Course of Action
(COA) plans, weekly activity reports, IRM-level Strategic Communication Articles, Pilot Concept of
Operation Plans/Schedules, Contingency Plans, Operational Runbooks/Checklist, SWOTs, and data
visualization/dashboards,
• Provide advisory to Branch Level Operations and Maintenance (O&M) by creating, reviewing, and
verifying processes are implemented in accordance with government approval,
• Provide support to Branch Level Business Operations as it relates to financial-related tasks
(e.g., cost modeling) and frameworks (e.g, Technology Business Management, TBM), as well as vendor
relationship support.
Competencies
• Use information technology expertise and/or industry-focused experience in fulfilling the
interpreted customer specification.
• Provide thought leadership related to current and future customer plans with regard to the
ongoing efforts.
• The Subject Matter Expert may also serve in a quality control role for completed tasks and plan
reviews.
• Manage all or part of the forward-leaning technical initiatives (e.g., pilot initiatives,
analysis of alternatives, authority to test) as it relates to data, voice, WiFi, and cloud.
• Ensures all critical/high and/ or VIP incidents or service requests are tracked, monitored,
attended to or resolved promptly and efficiently within service level targets and/or scheduled
timeframes.
• Act as primary technical POC for government customer Division Level leadership to ensure mission
objectives and technical vision is executed.
• Frequently communicates with Team Leads on upcoming projects, system maintenance activities, and
unplanned events to ensure staff are prepared to support the Department.
• Report and analyze all operational and performance-based metrics to identify service improvement
and/or training initiatives.
• Identify, notify, and address operational/system deficiencies promptly with Government
Stakeholders and Program Manager.
• Consults, researches, recommends, and implements new data solutions into the enterprise.
• Must be willing and able to learn and retain information.
• Must be able to work independently and in team environments.
• Good oral and written communication skills
Supervisory Responsibility
Will be required for this position.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office
equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The preponderance of the work is performed in an office-type setting, with adequate lighting,
heating/cooling, ventilation, and protection from the elements.
The contractor must be physically able, with reasonable and realistic accommodation where
appropriate, and agreeable to conduct on-site investigation of facilities, project sites, and
building systems in a variety of climates, site locations, and working conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.
Telework Policy
After 30 days of full-time employment, employees may have the option to work a combination of
on-site and remote, depending on workload requirements. Approval from ANG Leaders and the
government is required, along with a signed document that outlines the guidance and rules for
telework.
Please note that this is a privilege, and ANG/The government may change the policy at any time
during employment.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although about 10% out of the area and overnight
may be expected.
Experience
• A minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience is required for this position (See, Essential

Education
• Bachelor's Degree

• Desired- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
