Chronos Operations (CO) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation based in Anchorage, AK. Belonging to the Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Chronos has a culture rooted in integrity, respect, and exceptional performance. Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.

The TransViz Analyst/Trainer is responsible for providing technical expertise in analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems while providing training to support the Transportation Visualizer (TransViz) platform.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and solve computer problems, ensuring technology meets organizational needs.
  • Implement system studies to maximize benefits from equipment, personnel, and processes.
  • Plan and design new computer systems or adapt existing resources for additional operations.
  • Analyze user requirements and procedures to automate processes or improve systems.
  • Collaborate with personnel to identify operational problems and define input/output requirements.
  • Document user needs, program functions, and development steps for system modifications.
  • Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling to assess the feasibility of changes.
  • Evaluate current information systems and develop new solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams detailing system and personnel operations.
  • Conduct studies for new information systems to meet current and future needs.
  • Create technical reports, memoranda, and manuals for program documentation.
  • Upgrade systems and correct errors post-implementation.
  • Deliver comprehensive training (in-resident and virtual) and user support for the Transportation Visualizer (TransViz) platform, including creating instructional materials and conducting hands-on sessions.
  • Develops and maintains Government-approved lesson plans.
  • Collects feedback via critique forms.
  • Supports functional testing of upgrades.
  • Provides user assistance and sustainment training post-class.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years' experience in TransViz operations, curriculum development, and instructor-led and virtual training delivery.
  • Must have CompTIA CTT+ or equivalent instructor certification.
  • Must have Security+ CE certification.
  • Must have an active secret clearance.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of IT systems architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with the Transportation Visualizer (TransViz) platform functionality and workflows.
  • Ability to design and deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
  • Strong technical writing skills for creating user guides, manuals, and training materials.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly training content.
  • Ability to provide hands-on support and guidance to end-users during system implementation and training.
  • Results-driven with a positive attitude and a high degree of initiative and responsiveness.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and attend to details while staying focused on key priorities and management.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Good work ethic and active desire to learn.
  • Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to maintain security requirements.
