- The Armed Security Guard personnel will be responsible for providing security services at a U.S. Government location.
Responsibilities
- Required to interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.
- Will provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions.
- Will be responsible for the cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
- Will follow applicable standard operating procedures and government regulations pertaining to security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property and equipment.
- Will conduct personnel, vehicle, building, & facility checks/inspection.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be a Citizen of the U.S.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Pass comprehensive background investigation
- Must have an Active Secret clearance.
- Speak, read, comprehend , and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.
- Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
- Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922
- Must be at least 2 1 years of age.
- Possess a Valid driver's license
- Minimum of two years' experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
- Pass Drug Test and Medical evaluation exam
- Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards (1.5 mile run under 17:30 and 19 push-ups under 2 min.)
- Must successfully complete and pass the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory)
- Must be able to complete the company-provided 160-hour NSGTC course and qualify with both pistol and rifle .
