The G4 Accountability Analyst provides all functions needed to support Logistics Information System (LIS) network. Set up and maintain GCSS-A logistics systems, MC4, TC-AIMS II, and SAS-MOD, along with the CSS VSAT and CAISI network that provides connectivity to LIS.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain systems connected to LIS and the LIS networks; assist new Soldiers on LIS networks and troubleshooting defective computer equipment.
  • Deploy with the unit to ensure a seamless transition of the LIS network, provides everyday support to troops, and spearheads fielding of new equipment.
  • Provide advice, assistance, and instruction to users on the operations and maintenance of automation equipment and in the resolution of maintenance and supply problems.
  • Provide systems administrators to 101st Airborne Division HHB, SB, BCTs and CABs for all approved LIS during all mission phases. This includes ILAP, CAISI, VSAT, ULLS-AE, GCSS Army.
  • Provide automation services to include installation, updating software, programming/reprogramming systems, system functions checks, connectivity checks, life cycle replacement support in support of units during pre-deployment, deployment, care taking and recovery.
  • Provide support for LAN and wireless systems during all mission phases.
  • Provide automation hardware and software repair, updates and or replacement during all mission phases.
  • Deploy in mission support of contingency operations as required. Deployment procedures and operational orders generated by the Government will govern each deployment. It is imperative that logistic support be flexible and tailored to each deployment to ensure success of the mission.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable discipline field or Associate's degree with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in technical discipline may be substituted for college degree.
  • Possess and maintain a SECRET facility clearance from the Defense Security Service.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in Logistics Information Systems, to include GCSS-A logistics systems, MC4, TC-AIMS II, and SAS-MOD
  • Knowledge in ILAP, ULLS- AE, CSS VSAT and CAISI network
  • Experience in IT management and demonstrated proficiency in operating, maintaining, administering, and managing computers, web-based applications, software applications and functional server and systems.
  • Experience in automation services to include installation, updating software, programming / reprogramming systems, system functions checks, connectivity checks, lifecycle replacement support in support of units during pre- deployment, deployment, care taking and recovery.
  • Experience in providing advice, assistance, and instruction to users on the operations and maintenance of automation equipment and the resolution of maintenance and supply problems.
