Description

SAIC is seeking an AV Program (Master Creston) to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).



The successful candidate will provide their Master Creston expertise to the Video Conferencing (VTC) and Audiovisual team providing all facets of customer service including, designing, installing, programming, maintaining, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of video conference and briefing support facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to assist with engineering, designing, and integrating existing, and new AV/VTC technologies.
  • Responsible for performing all control system programming and commissioning of control system processors and touchpanels for audio visual systems.
  • Responsible for all audio digital signal processor (DSP) configuration and commissioning.
  • Works with Design Engineer and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative to ensure a user-friendly operating environment for controlling audio/visual equipment.
  • Provide training to users to ensure proper use and care.

This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years or more of related experience.
  • DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must have a Master Crestron certification.
  • Significant experience programming Crestron audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environments.
  • Biamp DSP configuration and commissioning certifications.
  • Dante audio systems configuring and commissioning.
  • Ability to interpret customer touchpanel interface requirements and develop intelligent, intuitive, functional user interfaces.
  • Understanding of electronic system architecture and design.
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lead projects and managing timelines to completion.
  • Speaks and writes fluent, grammatically correct English.
  • Experience researching and writing excellent documentation and examples for technical personnel.
  • Experience with Biamp, Clear One, and other audio mixing systems.
  • Experience with Crestron, Extron, RGB Spectrum, and other video switching systems.
  • Experience with MS Office to include Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Project.
  • Ability to manage multiple, high, & competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels.
  • Self- starter and problem solver.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Ability to communicate IT, networking, and security concepts to personnel at all levels of experience and responsibility.
  • Ability to become familiar with basic project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Configuration and change management experience working directly with/for a Government customer.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree and twelve (12) years or more experience.
  • Knowledege of AMX presentation control system programming.
  • ClearOne, and QSC DSP certification.
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • ITIL Foundations V4 certification.
  • An AV/VTC certification, such as: CTS, CTS-I, Creston DMC-4K, Extron AV Assoc.


Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
