Tygart Technology is seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a current secret security clearance. This is a remote opportunity supporting a DOJ customer based in Clarksburg, WV.
Responsibilities
Perform security audits, risk analyses, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.
Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Conduct research to identify emerging threats and new attack vectors.
Provide mainframe security support, including scanning and other operational security responsibilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
Active Tier 3 Secret Clearance.
A minimum of 5 years performing security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.
A minimum of 5 years developing and implementing technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Experience working within Agile methodologies.
Experience in cloud-native architectures.
Experience working with Kafka infrastructure.
Experience with container security in AWS.
Experience building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of federal security requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
